8 July 2020

The FDA has warned manufacturers of medical devices connectable to the internet and using old software named IPnet, that they are at risk of data theft. Examples of such medical devices include those that mimic the functioning pancreas, insulin pumps, and pacemakers. Hackers can control the operation of medical devices, and this is extremely harmful to patients.
